• About

    Tip of the iceberg

Born and raised in Singapore, a left-hander at birth and trained to write with my right, now I write with both hands. I speak Singlish fluently, love art, technology and architecture.

I work as an engineer in a company based in Singapore. I still wonder why this universe is made of science and not magic, it will be nice, for example, to be a wizard working in a local magical systems integrator, selling wands with 3 year warranty, extendable to 5, of course.

Nevertheless, technology has been good to me, I like doing my stuff with coffee. Drop me message if you think I can sort out your problems, I'll be glad to help.

I do not believe we are alone. Neither do I believe pyramids are just graves. However, I do believe Lunarin is one of the best bands out there.

I deal with existential questions once a while, e.g. what my legacy will be, and I hope whatever I do in my lifetime can change the world, or at least, my family, for the better. If I can leave a message for my descendants, I want them to live a full life by doing what they love, do what is right, stand up against oppressing zeitgeists, help prevent global warming, and never stop dreaming about colonising space.

If they can do that, awesome! But even if they don't, that's ok, as they say, "Always reach for the stars, even if you don't make it, at least you'll land amongst the clouds."

    Hobbies

I enjoy reading, looking at paintings and photographs. I used to play video games a lot, now sticking to just Killing Floor 2. Music is important to me, every life experience is more meaningful with music.

  • "To every man upon this earth
    Death cometh soon or late.
And how can man die better
    Than facing fearful odds,
For the ashes of his fathers,
And the temples of his Gods."

    Lays of Ancient Rome

  • Job History

My CV is simple; no more than one page. But here, I can go into certain details, ones that mean a lot to me.
